Its already the 4th day of 2012.

2011 didn't really end well. Expected fun but ended up working in the kitchen. 2011 started off my first time job in Pastry w Fullerton hotel after my attachment. It hasn't been a promising time there and was thinking of quitting till chef melvin came for rescue which was only after 27th. He asked me to stay to help him and he promise he would change the system in the kitchen. So, i gave up my thought of going and also gave myself another change to learn from him. Its just the start and hoping my stay would bring me to a better future...

I know this job is what I've chosen from the start and i know, almost 90% of my time i gotten commit to work and knowing, i had started to lose friends as the time passes by. As much as i doesn't want to, i have to. Because of myself, because of a better future... I really miss them, miss those fun times we used to have but as we grow up, we each lead life differently. I just hope they will all understand and gave me their fullest support..

2011, thankful for my family who is always there for me. And to everyone esp my god-family who always took time just to fit in to my offday so we could meet up for a meal.. And to bestie, she's probably one of the best person i ever know who always says she understand w/o me explaining and always been there for me thru it all. I know i no need alot of ppl in my life, as long as the true ones stays and those that really understand, because my life is different from others.

The two of us finally got to meet up becos good things happen only once, our OFFDAY happen to falls on the same day! We are so happy about it! So we met at city hall at 12pm and he overslept! Haha lunch was on him @Asian kitchen! I like the meatball he ordered! Then it was shopping spree for him! After walking in to POA, Benjamin Parker, Muji, Man studio, he finally settled on a long sleeve @ Muji which he doesn't really like after he went back in to Ben Parker again. Haha. We sat down at Starbucks to chill before we took train down to town hoping we could find more men clothes over there but we ended up at those branded shops like LV, gucci, burberry etc.. We walked in like some big shot! HAHAHA! And we passed by Abercrombie&Fitch and there was this really handsome guy standing outside the shop and he seems more excited then me and quickly bring me in. The shop was in such a dull color and all they sells was sweater. Haha, after walking out, we walked around then to ION orchard, he says he's hungry so he brought seaweed cracker and takoyaki octopus ball and we shared. Was so full by then. Brought drinks and we went to meet up w Kenny followed by Lin whom joined us after her work. Dinner was @ Lucky Plaza, Ayam Penet. The place have changed and had extended. Foods wasn't that good thou but it was the company that really matters right? After dinner, the guys went back while me and Lin went Mango sales and we both brought 2 tops before heading back home...

An early simple Christmas's dinner to celebrate dad's bday which falls on Christmas day itself. Its a pretty rushing day! Woke up in the morning and head down Compass Point to meet brother for breakfast at Yakun then to cold storage to get some groceries then he head back while i went hg, phoon huat to get the baking stuffs. As planned, baking a carrot cake on dad's bday since he doesn't really like buttery cakes and i thought carrot cake will be more suitable for him. Start with all the baking once i get back then is to make 汤圆 with mum's as its 冬至 the next day. It was already evening by then and we quickly go on with preparing those veg and roasting the turkey, ham, potatoes etc... The day was so tight that i almost fell asleep on the dining table but its definitely worth the smile on dad's face. Sadly, i got to work on his actual bday but still, i hope he enjoyed himself today! Love him deep!!! :D:D

The above people took off on a weekday just to go along w my tight working schedule and so, we went in to JB on a Tuesday morning! Had a really yumppy fried kway tiao for breakfast and we brought a full bag of char shao su back to SG.. Went Jusco to get our candies n some snacks before gg to sutera mall (if i never remember wrongly!) Late lunched at Vivo. Foods was really cheap and service was pretty good! Shopped till late night before we have dinner at 古文茶 before going back singapore!

Graduation Day

Finally, it marks the end of my SHATEC's life. No more morning trip from SK to Bukit Batok anymore! Haha! This 1 and a half yr had been a really great one, becos of all e friends i had met there, really. Knowing all of us are gg separates way, makes me feel sad. Slowly, seeing people come and go just like this. But that's life actually. I will definitely not forget those days and wonderful time w them be it baking, eating, slacking, lunching, staying up late to finish our projects etc etc... Those photos w them its enough for me to remember each of them. Lets nt talk about the bad times caused i'm sure e good times its enough to cover up those bad ones.

Thankful to my parent who had been there, all the time! Without them, i wouldn't be here, really! Their love for me was so great and this lifetime, i wld never be able to repay them. Their love, their support and always there thru my good and bad times. Really happy that both of them took OFF just for my grad's today thou the ceremony is really dried and dragging.

After the whole commencement, we went over to ECP to meet up w bro and ss's sister. A grad's treat from bro to Tung Lok's Seafood. Love simple meal like this. Its the people that really matters, right? I love them!! :D

Lastly, i've finally grad lo!!! :D:D

The boy had finally grown up! Attend his 21st after my work. The cousins put in much effort in finding those magazine and decorating the chalet up and making banner for him! :D Glad that he enjoyed himself with his mini-beer's partyyyyy! :D

Yesterday finally had the same off day with mum so decided to bring her out for brunch @ upper Thomson road, Habitat Coffee. But, the day didn't go according to what i want. Firstly, we alighted at the wrong bustop and we walked a distance of 2.7km till we reached our destination. Didn't felt really welcomed when i stepped into the place plus what makes me even more sian was that, brunch is only open on WEEKDAYS! -.- So i just ordered their habitat sandwich plus their have-to-order, truffle fries! Food wasn't that great after all. After lunch, we walked over to Thomson plaza and then took bus down to AMK. Wait for Dad to fetch us and we brought dinner back home.

Today end work around 8pm, all of them came over my workplace to fetch me and we went Swee Choon dim sum restaurant for dinner! Foods was great and its been awhile since the four of us have dinner tgt! Heart-warming thou :D Love my precious three! <3

Feeling really vexed and tired these days. Many thoughts running thru my mind. Chef Min Choo had already made up her mind to leave. Work seems to stack up now. I don't even know im able to take over and i have no confidence in handling over town buffet. Its like suddenly, everything is being thrown right at you and i gotten fix it up. Just hope as the time pass, things will eventually gets better! This time, it gotten be a tough period. Hope im able to get thru it. I really need to...

And i felt really silly now thinking of J after 2 years!! Its like memories just flashes back. I looked back at those photos, those days we are in KL. It's truly was sweet abet the sadness that accompanies w e breakup. All these while, many things have changed him. He's someone so smart yet he wanna lead e wrong path n gg thru all these now! The stubbornness will always be permanent on him! Just hope something will hit him hard and will changed him one day to be a better person. He had found his freedom which he wanted all along but is he truly happy???? I know i should bothered, but sometime, i still care, i do care.. Praying for his safely and good health all the time...

Just hope work will goes well and smooth. Feeling so tired of work and sometime the minority can caused so much changes in the kitchen. There seems to be communication breaks down all the time. WHY!!! If only, i could speaks out clearly how i felt deep down. Sometime work makes me felt so demoralized! Trying so hard to find motivation to work...

I really need to hang in there, there's so much more things on hand! Note to self, not to feel so negative.

Sometime growing up, you tend to take up so much responsibilities. Work seems to overtook everything. It seems like we all work so hard just for a living! Work sometime makes me mad, makes me felt so frustrated! I even asked myself why do i gave out so much when im earning like "peanuts"! Moreover, no one appreciates when the hard work is never pay off!! :( Many a times, the people and the many many negatives surrounding makes me felt like giving up and move on. But, i asked myself again, no matter where we go, we ended up meeting people like these and how many times i gg to give up and go? This is nt a positive attitude in life. But sometime i felt so tired, felt like i had enough. Work numb me up, all i want was to get back home, have a good bathe and sleep.

I always appreciates those who dotes, care n love me especially my family; always being protected by them and i know i shouldn't asked for more..

For each time the heart hurts, i just want to sleep and spent a quiet time alone.

Its been awhile since i really sat down and had a good time to blog. The year is coming to an end in ard 3 more months. We have all grown up, each leading different lifestyle and in e mid while, we meet different people, in different stages of life. Now i believe that people leave at sometime, even thou you were once so closed with. Whats all the "friends forever"? I doesn't believe it anymore. People come and go. We can't stop it. Sometime fate just stop halfway there?? I used to have a group of really fun loving group of friends but many many things happen in the years and slowly, all of us split up into groups and groups. Looking back at those photos, those fun we had its indeed priceless. Something i will always looked back to reminiscence the past. Glad that each and everyone of them is leading a good time now. Just hope, someday, the picture of all of us will be perfect once again!

On a side note, found out something really unpleasant regarding of J. Watching him getting from bad to worst yet feeling helpless. He had let those who love him down again & AGAIN! Now, just pray that he will be fine n wake up from all his mistakes n be a better person.. Keeping him in my prayer*

(Oct 3) Meet up with my fave three for food for thoughts @8 Queen Street. It was full-house due to the lunch crowd but we didn't wait too long for our seats. The foods was good.

Dinner time finally met up with BESTIE after her work! Yz tagged along during movie time so we asked him along to COCOTTE as well. Alysia works here so i came over to give it a try! Food was great, nice ambiance definitely with the best people! So the 4 of them ordered a dessert platter for me and a complimentary cake from Alysia! Had a great day with them!! =)

Met up with sl, marcus, ken & law after our work. Had my first korean bbq's dinner @ SARANG (Orchard Central)!! It's my first time there and talking about their foods, i wld definitely go again! Their kimchi&seafood soup is one of those dishes I'm so crazed over! Sl brought two slices of cake with her chocolate's wording from Antoinette! Me and Marcus birthday both falls on Oct and we had been celebrating tgt since last year! Hope it continue like this every year! :D Happy Birthday to US!! :D:D

(Oct 9) On a sunny sunday, had lunch with my family @ hougang mall and a good shopping day with Mum&Dad before heading over to AMK to meet up with my godparents. Dinner @AMK one of the coffee shop! Simple meal yet I'm happy to see everyone!=)

On my actual birthday, Mum cooks all my fave and her home-made fried chicken wing! *YUM*

(Oct 13) Save the best for the last, definitely with the people i love the most!! So i had 2 complimentary birthday voucher to dine in at TOWN restaurant! So the five of us head down on a thursday's evening! Had a really warm-welcome by everyone there! :D Chef Willie prepared a huge pizza for my table and Chef Danny specially made a really nice sushi platter for me! Ended off the day with a tiramisu prepared by Chef Min Choo. Thou its a really short night, but i enjoyed myself so much! Thanks everyone for making this meal a great one and makes me feel really blessed.

So this is how i celebrate my 23rd. Thou like the usual years, the 6th person had been missing but i guessed, it will come along on e right time and at a right place someday. There's many many things i wanna say but when it come to time i really sit down and type down my thoughts, it just went blank.
